Our Fly-In Day Fishing experience is designed
for visitors who want the full northern experience packed into one
unforgettable day. You don’t need to be a hardcore angler, everyone is welcome and
everything is taken care of from the moment you arrive. Your round-trip Beaver
flights carry you into pristine, remote waters where trophy fish thrive far
from the pressure of roadside lakes — the kind of untouched fisheries that keep
anglers coming back for a lifetime.

Once on the water, you’re in expert hands. Our
seasoned local guides know these lakes intimately — every reef, drop-off, and
hidden bay where the big ones hold. Whether you’re chasing hard-fighting
northern pike, aggressive lake trout, or beautiful Arctic grayling, your guide
puts you on fish and shares knowledge that only comes from years on these
waters. First-timer or lifelong angler, you’ll be dialed in and casting with
confidence in no time.

There’s nothing to pack and nothing to worry
about. All of your fishing equipment — rods, reels, tackle, and terminal gear —
is provided and ready to go. Just bring yourself, your camera, and your sense
of adventure.

Then comes the moment that defines a true
northern day: the shore lunch. Midway through your adventure, your guide
beaches the boat on a quiet stretch of shoreline, builds a crackling fire, and
cooks your fresh-caught fish right there on the rocks. Golden fillets sizzling
in the pan, the scent of woodsmoke drifting over the water, a meal shared under
open sky — this is the heart of the northern fishing tradition, and for many
guests it’s the memory that lingers longest.

As the afternoon light softens, return back to

the lodge and enjoy more northern hospitality as you wait for your Beaver floatplane
to return and carry you home — tired, satisfied, and already planning your next
trip.

•    Round-trip DHC-2 Beaver floatplane flights to and from the lodge

•    Professional, experienced fishing guide services

•    All fishing equipment and tackle — rods, reels, and terminal gear

•    An authentic open-fire shore lunch prepared from your fresh catch

Not Included in the Price:

•    Fishing licences (Available at Ahmic Air Floatbase)

•    Gratuities for your guides and pilots (should you wish to tip)

•    Any alcoholic beverages purchased from the lodge’s licensed facilities while awaiting the aircraft’s return at the end of your day

P.S.   Yellow Dog Lodge does have a full range of
toiletries available and laundry service for those that choose to lengthen
