Moose Bay Shore Crawl
Our most popular tour - islands, shoreline and a mystery "shipwreck"!
There is a reason this is our most-loved tour! We "shore crawl" south along the east side of Yellowknife Bay and out onto mighty Great Slave Lake, skimming past the Wool Bay fish plant, Ruth Island, the Mirage Islands and the Pilot Islands all the way to Moose Bay.
Look out across the lake - Hay River is 193 km (120 miles) away across open water! As we turn for home, keep your eyes peeled for a half-sunken freight barge from the mining days. Then it is back over popular fishing lakes like City Boy Lake and Dettah for a smooth landing on Back Bay.
