Chase whitewater up the river Franklin explored - spectacular in fall colours!
Follow the bright blue ribbon of the Yellowknife River north on a route explorer John Franklin paddled in 1820! Rapid after rapid tumbles below you - Tartan Rapids, the Bluefish Dam, the falls at the Quyta Lake outflow and the whitewater at both ends of Sito Lake.
Keep your eyes open for moose and bears along the way as we fly up to Clan Lake, then cruise home down a different chain of lakes back to House Boat Bay before landing at Back Bay. Come in September and the whole country glows red and gold - pure magic!
